Hopefully yours won’t break shortly after it opens like ours did @IgorVats it took another five years to take it apart, fix it and put it back together again.
It can help your photography to keep your horizon level.

Is this near the QE2 @IgorVats ?
@AdamGT Unfortunately, I do not know what QE2
Hi @IgorVats and @AdamGT , QE2 i- Queen Elizabeth 2 Boat is located in Shandaga areas which is about 30 minutes driving from Jumairah and Blue Waters areas … QE2 and Dubai eye … both are amazing attractions in Dubai …
I lived in a Sheraton hotel
@IgorVats Thanks for your post. Last month I was talking about Ferris Wheel in Connect. I am happy to took a ride in London Eye during my trip to UK. It was nice.
@PaulPavlinovich Good to know your country also has a Ferris wheel. I hope you visited there, how was your experience?
You are welcome to read my views regarding London eye Ferris wheel experience in my Connect post here.
Hi @MuhannadK
The reason why I asked if the ferris wheel was near the QE2 is because when I visited the QE2 in Dubai last year I heard about the Mina Rashid marina waterfront development and thought this would be ideal for a ferris wheel.
Strictly speaking ours isn’t a Ferris Wheel specifically. The Ferris Wheel has gondolas suspended from above or from the sides on an axle inside the wheel. Ours has pods that ride the outside of the wheel a lot like London Eye which is similar.
Ours takes about 45 minutes to do a complete revolution so there is plenty of time to see the views. Its so slow and stable that you can do long exposure photography of up to 10 seconds and have it reasonably clear.
Ours is called the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel https://goo.gl/maps/oVMC6bKoA6s15v8u6 Locals often call it the Death Star because bits of it fell off.

Привет @IgorVats
приятно знать, что ты был там в Sharjah…
Queen Elizabeth Ship - один из интересных отелей Dubai. Стоит попробовать, если у вас есть будущее путешествие
Hi @AdamGT
You are right, Dubai is constantly developing, I just found the Rashid Port Marina Waterfront , and it will be on my list to visit there
Dubai eye built on top of new Island … Blue Waters , got the chance to visit there in March this year, I ma sure many new developments there, by the time I visit there only few shops and one restaurant was ready, it should be now having much more service
Below the photo I took last March
Great photo @MuhannadK . So the new leisure destination in Dubai’s Mina Rashid is called Marina Cube. Good to hear that it has already opened.
What an interesting and beautiful experience @IgorVats hehe!
I liked the photos of the waterfront. A while ago I also did a tour of the waterfront of my city, I leave the link to my publication in case you are interested in reading it: Walking the Costanera Of Ushuaia Thank you!
