The DSF Drone Show from 5th-25th December 2025, lighted up the skies above the bay between Bluewaters and The Beach JBR.
With over 1,000 advanced LED drones, the drone show in 2025 was brighter, bolder, and more immersive than ever. There were two spectacular shows every night:
• Dubai, City of Dreams – a stunning tribute to the city’s most beloved landmarks.
• Celebrations – a joyful burst of colour, motion, and sky-high creativity.
For the first time, both shows featured drone-powered pyro effects, adding even more magic and energy to Dubai’s winter nights. There were two shows daily at 8pm and 10pm and were free to attend.
We arrived early to secure the best waterfront view at Bluewaters. And we did get spectacular views of the show!!
It is quite nice to see the way Dubai has been managing the tourist season offering newer attractions year on year, several of which are free!! No wonder Euromonitor’s recent reports place Dubai very high in global tourism, with some sources from late 2025 citing it as the sixth most visited city (around 19.5 million visitors) in their 2025 ranking, leading the Arab world, while other 2025 data puts it around 12th in the Top 100 City Destinations Index.
