@TraciC Sorry to bother. I know it’s not related but I can’t download offline maps. It is stuck at 0%. What to do??

I would recommned you to visit the Google Maps forum and to describe your issue. Please read the replies already given there on how to clear the application data of your device to retry and download the offline maps. I hope this will help you.
In addition to that, if you face an issue, please be more specific about the device you’re using (iOS, Andoid etc.) in order to help you troubleshoot accordingly.

Actually I tried all the things mentioned in the forum. But nothing happened.
I’m using Motorola g7 power.

If you connect a vpn,you can successfuly download it’s.
