I have contributed 125 edits and all of them are approved.But still I haven’t got Expert fact finder badge and it showing only 6 edits.why this is so?

Could it be that you’ve made these edits rather recently? Because I know there is sometimes a delay in validating the edits and using them to assign badges. I would suggest giving it a couple of days and I guess the badge will come eventually.
In that time, you can of course add some more edits to Google Maps

Although you have 127# approved edits on your main badge, only 6# qualify for the fact-finder badge.

Nevertheless, continue your edits and relish the activity of clean up of Maps. Badges are auxiliary and will unlock automatically.

I just looked at your profile and it still says only 6 edits under your fact finder badge. So waiting might not solve this.
I also looked at the same difference in my profile, and my difference is relatively a lot smaller.
Looking closely at your second screenshot tells me that you have added a high proportion of names to photos. While they for some strange reason count as edits on your main count they probably don’t count as edits under your fact finder badge. Here you need to add new places to the map and edit names, move map markers or suggest more specific categories, etc. To improve the quality of a place. Not just add text to photos.
The difference in my numbers could be explained by the number of texts I have added to pictures.
Please test and report back if this advice is correct and helps you.

I think you are making “Photo tags” worth 3 points each and not real “Edits”.

So many edits do not qualify now is going to remain a contradiction, unless the moderators explain the phenomenon of how and why “edits become private”.

With so edits could you please make an accurate count. The figure 50+ could actually explain you problem. If you keep the emails about your edits they might be easier to sort and count.
