As the development of social media, you can now share your experience about something not only to our friends or family but also to random people who might live away from you halfway around the world.
I am Vy and I am a Local Guide on Google maps. I love sharing my dining experience where I visited on Google maps. In my opinion, no matter where you are traveling to, you would love to try out the local food. That is the reason why I started to share pictures and comments about places that I have been to with the hope that it can reach to whom need it. As a customer, we mostly have 3 main things that we usually have the expectation to:
- Atmosphere: The first moment when we walking in a place, our eyes would start looking around to observe the space. How the place is decorated? What theme/vibes that it gives you? Is it spacious? How the tables are set up? etc
- Dining experience: During the meal, the most important thing is how food is served? How is the serversâ attitude? For example, they are friendly and checking with the customer during their meal. I do believe that servers and hosts are really important people who are able to lift customersâ dining experience into the next level and so they want to come back to the restaurant.
- Food quality: Including how its presentation? How does it taste?
Sometimes, depends on the type of restaurant that the standard might be varied. Such as if it is a popular spot, I would add how long do you expect to wait to get a table or can you call to make a reservation? I usually add as many photos as possible in order to give people who read my review as more information as they might want to.
In conclusion, love sharing my dining experience because I feel that I can help a lot of people. I can also help the business to reach out to more customers. I do really love my Google mapsâ Local Guide journey!
