Boro Ma is very famous and Auspicious Goddess among all Kali Puja in West Bengal. The Puja happen in Naihati and from long back it` been happening. In Naihati the Goddess are huge in height. There are a lot of Puja happen some are Theme Based , some are Traditional, some are huge. There is a proverb Boro Ma Listen to Everyone .means Boro Ma give everything you want while worshiping her. History Behind Diwali
Previous days when workers come to home for vacation ,they enjoy with family and worship goddess Kali for preventing their family. And according to Hindu ritual Kali Puja mainly happen on Amabasya (Darkness of new moon). That time we Light up and spread positivity to society.
After one day on Bhai Dooj (Bhai Phota) all sisters come to brothers home for giving them Phota (This is also protect them from evil God of Death/Yama). This ritual helps to connect all relatives closer for at least once a year.
