I was guessing you saw it anyway @tony_b. No glitch in Connect, but I deleted what I wrote because it was based on a wrong assumption.
For not to make a secret out of it, here is what I wrote yesterday:
It depends what you consider as qualify, @tony_b. Using a mobile phone only, you certainly cannot fulfill all 12 suggestions given under Steps to add your star photo: 3.2 The long version and reach the maximum of 150 points.
However, I purposely did not say 12 rules or requirements, but called them “suggestions” instead, because they describe how it ideally should be and later on under Important Notes, @AdamGT says “The points shown in brackets against each of the above requirements (maximum 150), are used to measure how well your star photo screenshot fits in with the specified formatting criteria mentioned above.”
So based on the equipment you use, you might not be able create an ideal entry in the star photo album, but should try, to get at close as possible according to your capabilities.
However, having said the above, I falsely assumed, screenshots on the mobile would always look like in your examples, but there are always some ways to improve the result. As @Annaelisa mentioned, you can crop the screenshot. In addition, for landscape images, I suggest to use the rotate function in Android, but then performing the screenshot becomes a bit more difficult because you need to press the Power button and Volume Down button simultaneously.
