Today I tried a new way to eat this world known dish, I ate a “Panchorno”, it’s a baked hot dog with different sauces. They make a dough with the sausage in pieces inside, they bake it and when is ready there are many option to make the best Panchorno for you. I chose one with tomatoes, caramelized onions, portobels and blue cheese, was delicious!! Was served with a portion of French fries.
It is so interesting to see the varieties of this great snack/meal around the world. I find it interesting that it is just pieces in sausage! It looks like more about the toppings and bread itself. What are some popular toppings for these besides the ones you mentioned?
Thanks @JordanSB well there are different toppings, every one has the name of a city, mine was Cannes, New York (cheddar, bacon, BBQ sauce, caramelized onions & jalapenos), Buenos Aires (cheese, creole sauce & fries). There’s one named Jalisco with guacamole, jalapenos & beans.
