Nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps, Lauterbrunnen is a destination that feels like it’s been plucked straight out of a storybook. Known as the “Valley of 72 Waterfalls,” this picturesque village offers breathtaking landscapes, cascading waterfalls, and charming alpine culture that captivates every traveler.
I visited Lauterbrunnen 2 years ago, a beautiful village in Switzerland, and I couldn’t resist sharing my experience with you all. Known as the “Valley of 72 Waterfalls,” it’s surrounded by stunning alpine scenery, with snow-capped peaks, lush meadows, and cascading waterfalls everywhere you look!
Highlights of my trip:
- Staubbach Falls: The iconic waterfall that feels like it’s straight out of a postcard.
- Trümmelbach Falls: Glacial waterfalls hidden inside a mountain—truly one-of-a-kind!
- Mürren & Schilthorn: A peaceful, car-free village with amazing views, and the spot where James Bond On Her Majesty’s Secret Service was filmed.
I also loved hiking in the area—the trails are breathtaking, both in beauty and effort!
