Since I was a child I love and enjoy reading maps, since then it is one of my hoobies I like to do.
Frequently, I spend good time looking at Google Maps, thinking in the places where I have been stayed and places I wish to be in the future, or just to have more knowledgde about a ciy, region or place.
Because of that, Local Guides bring me the opportunity to enjoy an activity that I like and contribute helping other people.
I like take to much photos, I can as Local Guide contribuite in the Maps uploading my photos to give more perspectives and differing views to the users that are looking any kind of places.
Every day is an opportunity to discover a new place in my city, Guadalajara, or in a place (city, town, beach, etc) where I am traveling.
Which type of new places I discover? Well there are a huge range of place, I am walking with open eyes and with a smartphone. I take pictures of a diversity of places: parks, churches, buildings, sculptures, stores, airports, malls, schools, etc.
I take advantage of this situations to take photos for my own, I select the best to share with the rest of the world through Google Maps.
I feel good when I notice that a picture I shared has relevant number of views and specially when someone give a like.
With the people near and around me, like, family or friends, I notice that most of them use Maps to have anykind of information to take a decisition, like the way to take, the restaurant to go, the schedule for something, the store to buy, the place to visit.
I feel useful, when I share my photos and when I know are seen it for others.
Over time I found that is very common that the photo or aportation with most views or valoration is one made on an any given day and without having planned it, someting totally spontaneus
Then, Local Guides, give me the following opportunities to me:
