Thanks a lot for your tips. I will try, see and give feedback.
Dear Morten Ji,
It’s an iOS feature yet to roll out on Android…I strongly believe.
Thanks dear @wilfriedb for your kind response…

You’re absolutely right! While sharing a link directly would be the most straightforward method, using a screenshot to share location data is actually quite convenient in its own way. It allows for quick access to the information without needing to navigate through menus and can be especially useful when you’re on the go or using apps that don’t natively support sharing links. It’s a simple, accessible workaround that works well in many situations!
@Gurukrishnapriya Thanks so much for liking and commenting! I really appreciate your feedback.
Thanks, this is a well established method of sharing the live location…
Regards
Nice one. Thanks for sharing. I will definitely try.
Live location sharing is a relatively old feature. I have used it s lot. It is really helpful when a group of people roam around and let others know where you are at.
@Trail_blazer, I think you are right. Why the heck share a screenshot when a link to a location on Maps does the trick much better.
I somewhat remember telling you that Indians are big buff about searching Google and YouTube using voice commands. They are also a lot into live location and place sharing feature. They do it a lot on WhatsApp. Sometimes it stuns me that they have gotten good heck of doing it so easily despite not being tech savvy. And Yeah when sharing location is so easy why take ss and share location from it😀
As of my knowledge the creator of YouTube is a South Asian gentleman. @Trail_blazer
Wonderful
Thanks for sharing dear @ShailendraOjha Bhai
I will try to use this on the next trip
You are right @Trail_blazer
During the Meetup at Google’s office in Delhi, they officially announced that India is their largest market for Google Maps and also the largest number of searches on Google Maps happen in India.
The official number is 70 million route searches per year - the highest in the World.
Thanks for confirming Tushar Bhai
Btw I was telling from real life experience I see my parents using voice commands and endless such examples from rural area too where people are so used to voice searches. And Google has refined this feature and curated so good that it has become a goto feature here in India.
I always test out new features on Google Maps before sharing on connect. @Trail_blazer
& yes @TusharSuradkar Dada
Mobile internet users will rise even more with the new satellite broadband plan.
Sure @Trail_blazer
The sound-activated search is immensely and popularly used in the US.
I have seen people everywhere in the US using this.
YouTube was created by three former PayPal employees: Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim.
- Jawed Karim is an American software engineer and Internet entrepreneur. He is one of the co-founders of YouTube and the first person to upload a video to the site.
- Steve Chen is a Taiwanese-American Internet entrepreneur who is one of the co-founders and previous chief technology officer.
- Chad Meredith Hurley is an American webmaster and businessman who serves as the advisor and former chief executive officer.
To the best of my knowledge, Karim is originally from Bangladesh and currently resides in Germany.
Thanks @KetanChhaniyara
Jawed Karim was born in Merseburg, East Germany, to a Bangladeshi father and a German mother.
