Discover Dawki: A hidden kingdom of waterfalls ,Cloud and crystal clear water river

Bangladesh Local Guides arrange there 115th meetup " Discover Dawki " in India northeastern state "Meghalaya " . Meghalaya means “The Abode of Clouds” in Sanskrit and other Indo-Iranian languages.

We arrange 2 day long meetup in Dawki name one area there few hidden beauty till now not popular it near to Bangladesh Border. so we plan travel there and share in our community and Connect World .

Kransuri water fall in amlarem name one area . this is too too much famous and popular in Meghalaya .29 km far from border small city Dawki . not available any public transport so must rant car from dawki it’s almost 25$ for small 4 sit cab/taxi.

Entry fee: 50rs for adult ,with life jacket 100rs

child : age 5-11 30rs

for full visit this waterfall area it’s take around 3/4 hour depends on your body condition .

Snorkeling in Umngot River

Umngot river another name crystal clear river its beside the Shnongpedeng Village . in winter you can see full river under now rainy now you can see 70% . we are planing snorkeling and do that around 3 hour . village people are really helpful they an help you to find out where good place for do that .

Khasia Punji

Khashi is a mongolite ethnic group is one of the major matriarchal tribes in Bangladesh. and there village called punji . there one khasia punji we travel it’s like a adventure journey .

narrow and slippy road we trail / hiking around 45 min to arrived a small water fall area . we are too much tired but so happy .

Shnongpdeng Village

Umngot River bank this village actually popular for tourism. we stay in river side resort enjoy the natural beauty . there you can ride boat and enjoy hill area waterfall view and many more .

Tourist love to take picture from this bridge . but not more then 15 people allow to walk in this bridge .

It was a memorable trip for me. The scenic view of shnongpdeng and krangsuri fall was amazing. I feel lucky to visit such a wonderful place. It was like heaven for me. And obviously I wanna go there again and again. Thank you so much @MahabubMunna vaia for arranging the trip and allow me to go and make me feel proud. :blush:
