On Saturday 16 May , starting at 8pm, Piazza Roma will transform into an elegant restaurant under the stars with “ Dinner in Piazza Roma ”, the event organised by Confcommercio Modena on the occasion of “Catering Day” promoted by Fipe – Confcommercio , to celebrate and enhance Italian cuisine and the local excellence.
For one evening, in the heart of Modena’s historic center, guests will enjoy a unique food and wine experience, combining authentic traditional flavors and excellent local products. In the kitchen, a team of accomplished chefs will be supported by sommeliers, waiters, and dining room staff to ensure attentive, high-quality service.
This year’s edition will be made even more evocative by an aerial dance show accompanied by light shows projected directly onto the façade of the Military Academy, creating a dramatic, dramatic atmosphere. Making the evening even more engaging, a trio of musicians will provide live accompaniment, blending music and performance into an immersive experience.
Dinner in Piazza Roma" also confirms its importance as a charitable initiative. The partnership with Porta Aperta , a historic Modena-based organization committed to fighting poverty, continues: 20 people supported by the association will be hosted for dinner, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to support its activities.
This year, part of the proceeds will also be donated to the Angela Serra Association for Cancer Research, which has been active for years in supporting cancer research and promoting prevention.
The event, also conceived as a tool for promoting tourism and enhancing the Modena area , sees the active participation of the Piacere Modena Protection Consortia , the Municipality of Modena and the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and the Emilia-Romagna Region .
