Hello, please help

Until two days ago, my score was 18,000, but yesterday I saw 16,000, and yesterday’s map activities, such as editing or adding a location, were emailed to me, but not in the contributions.

Nevertheless, I understand you lost 2000 points.

That happens when we choose to delete the Maps history. That’s explained in detail in this link

The loss is irrecoverable.

To prevent future damage, please select to retain the Maps activity forever by selecting auto delete off.

The most common reason for the lost of points is related to the setting for Google’s My Activity .

The setting of my activity is influencing your points related to “answer questions”. The question answered are not visible on the profile in Google Maps, but the total amount is shown on “Your contributions”. I see you only have 76 answer counted in there.

If on My Activity your setting is different from this one here below, your answer are automatically deleted and the points not given.

However, you could have edited the previous one to make that more clear.

Nevertheless, you can select to answer the questions once again through the contribute menu.

As @C_T and @ErmesT already said, loss of points might occur for more than one reason and I am glad you now have found out what was the cause in your case so that won’t happen again.
