Hello Google Local Guides,
I’m reaching out to see if anyone has experienced similar issues or can offer advice. I’ve been trying to add an ATM booth location to Google Maps for a while now, but every time I submit it, it gets rejected. I’ve made sure all the details are correct, including the name, location, and hours of operation, and even provided photos where possible.
Location : 69VC+J5W Shahjibazar
Location: 24°14’38.9"N 91°22’13.7"E
Here are the issues I’m facing:
- Repeated rejections despite submitting accurate information.
- I’ve checked that the location is not already listed, but the system still rejects my submissions.
- I’ve followed all of Google’s guidelines for adding locations, but still facing obstacles.
Is there any specific reason why Google might be rejecting ATM booths, or does anyone have advice on how to increase my chances of getting this location approved?
Any tips or insights from the community would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Dear @Asif-Reja-Titu , Adding Atm to Maps is closed. Only Bank authorities can edit it to the Maps. I think @ErmesT have more knowledge in this!
Heartiest Thanks for your feedback.
Hi @Asif-Reja-Titu
From many days we can’t getting the approval’s for adding new places like Hospital, Bank, ATM & Pharmacy etc… This all categories are getting rejected quickly the reason is due to scams are anything else (I don’t know much about this scams.) Even if the place is already exist in maps also we can get rejected if we something edit on that place.
Solution is talk with the bank manager (if this atm is near Bank) are any other person. Explain them to start managing / adding through Google Business Profile. In this way there’s few chances for getting approval.
Thank You
Hi,
Banks and ATMs are sensitive places, where scam attempts have occurred in the past.
This is one reason, according to Maps rules, to block user-generated content for certain categories or even certain areas.
Only the bank can add their location through their GMB account.
