Dharmarajika Buddhist Monastery (Bengali: ধর্মরাজিকা বৌদ্ধ মন্দির) is such a prayer hall located inside the Dhaka city, Bangladesh. It was built during 1962 to conduct their activities for Buddhist community alongside the prayer, teaching, and meditation.
This temple has a medium sized pond inside and beside this, you’ll find a large golden status of Buddha standing on the Lotus. Also you’ll find the teaching center and the prayer hall inside the premises.
It is famous for its newly built 38’ Standing Buddha Statue. Ever first of its kind in Bangladesh this Statue has been erected by the guidance of H. H. Sanghanayaka Suddhananda Mahathero and Phra Maha Boonsong Upasamo of Wat Songmettawanaram of Chonburi, Thailand under the patronage of Royal Thai Family.
Another attractive Pagoda and Atisha Statue is going to be constructed at Dharmarajika Buddhist Monastery by the patronage of His Majesty King of Bhutan and other donors.
The Dharmarajika Buddhist Monastery consists of a prayer dormitory, the main Shrine, the Nikko Niwano Clinic and the Dharmarajik Lalitakala Academy.

Closing time: 11:00 PM
No entry fee here.
How to go:
If you want to come from Shahjalal International Airport or Gabtoli bus terminal, you can get a direct bus. They will take you to Atish Dipankar Road-Kamalapur Road. There is a bus stop called Buddha Mandir bus stop. The rent will be 35-50 Taka.
Moreover, you can come from any places of Dhaka City you can hire CNG or Uber.
