Deutsches Museum : Munich

In every country I visit, my goal

is to see at least one museum there. I have recently been to Deutsches Museum in Munich (Germany) and I have been impressed by this massive museum and had a couple of hours there.

There are different sections like physics, archeology, astronomy, sailing, machines, engines and more… There is also a section for kids so you can go there as a family as well… Location is in the heart of Munich and easily accessible by tram (I used number 19 and it has a stop right in front of the museum). There is also a restaurant in the museum and you can find traditional German food there…

Hi @EsinHezer ,

That sounds really cool! It’s very nice that you visit everytime a museum wherever you travel. I am curious which part of the museum did you like the most? I am not that person, who loves to visit museums, but the museum that impressed me a lot, is the museum of Kafka in Prague. In it I found the life story of Kafka that I’ve learned in my university and original books from him. It was just amazing!

@PoliMC Many thanks for the lovely comments. I am a space fan, the vastness of it and the mystery behind it impress me a lot, therefore I spent most of my time in astronomy :telescope: section. I have taken a closure look into the structure of sun, world and stars… I even touched to an astroide, which was an unbelievable experience for me…

By the way I have read the metamorphoses of Kafka

and it was really good. I’m sure the museum is great, as a reflection of his beautiful mind.

Here is a picture I have taken in that section:

Hi @EsinHezer ,

Thanks a lot for your nice reply!

Wau, it sounds impressive that you touched to the an asteroid! And yeah, the metamorphoses of Kafka are very interesting, but a lot of people don’t accept him. If you have the chance to visit Prague, I recommend you to go there for sure.
