Delhi 6 Food: Kuremal Mohanlal Kulfi

In support of @MathanVibranarayan’s post Beat the Heat Meetup Challenge Fresh Sips to Support Small Business hereby I am sharing the information about very old and famous Kulfi shop which exists since 1906 in Delhi 6.

Near Chandni Chowk Metro Station in Delhi, there is a very famous shop called Mohanlal Kulfi Wale. While there are other shops with similar names in the area, you can recognize the actual one by its distinct look in pictures.

This shop offers a variety of unique kulfi flavors, including Jamun (black plum), Khatta Meetha (sweet and sour), Santara (orange), Amrood (guava), Anar (pomegranate), and Pineapple. The kulfi here is incredibly delicious and worth trying.

One of the most fascinating things about their kulfi is the presentation. For flavors like Orange, Guava, and Pomegranate, they use real fruit shells! The fruits are hollowed out, and the kulfi is filled inside. Since the flavors are so authentic, it seems they also add the natural juice of the fruit into the kulfi mixture. This makes the experience even more enjoyable, as you get the true essence of the fruit in every bite.

If you’re ever in Chandni Chowk, don’t miss the chance to indulge in this delightful treat. Pick your favorite flavor and enjoy a refreshing, flavorful kulfi experience!

I have always wanted to give the Kulfis here a try. Very old and very original product which is delicious with a piece of the actual fruit, rather than the fruit flavours many add in ice creams nowadays. Excellent way to beat the heat of Delhi. Thank you for sharing @K.K.Sharma ji
