I did exactly as you suggested and changed my default account, BUT when I tried to post a review using the default account, I received an Error Message. The same message that I received previously.
Does Google update immediately or does it take time?
Maybe changing the default did not fix the problem of posting a review using my LG Account?

Posting a Review with my Local Guides account through Google Maps using a Web Browser was UNSUCCESSFUL.
The latter gave me an ERROR Message.

Would it be possible to make my gmail email account the LEVEL 6 Local Guide Account and the OTHER email account the NON Local Guide Account?
All the data including Reviews, Photos etc on my LEVEL 6 Local Guide Account would be accessed via my gmail email account.
Is that possible?

Your existing contributions in your gmail account cannot be transferred to your Local Guides account. I would suggest you to make your Local Guides account the default one following my instructions above.
Your query has been resolved now, could you please try and post your review trough your Local Guide account and let me know how it goes?

Instead of using NON gmail address for my Local Guides 6 Account, use my gmail account
AND
Instead of using gmail account for my NON Local Guide 6 Account, use my NON gmail account.
I hope that I have explained this in the correct manner.
What I am asking is that is it possible to SWAP the two accounts?

I did understand you, what I was saying is that you can not swap between the accounts. You can use only one account as a Local Guide. So you will have to decide which one do you want to use for that manner.

If I decided to use my gmail account as a Local Guide would I LOSE my current LEVEL 6 Status?
I achieved my current LEVEL 6 Level Status using my NON gmail account.

If your level 6 status is in your NON gmail account, and you decide to use your gmail account then you will have to start from the beginning. The level 6 status is attached to the account you have reached it out with, it can not be transferred to another account.
