Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple, Pune is dedicated to the Hindu God ‘Ganesh’. This is one of the most popular temples in Maharashtra and is visited by thousands of pilgrims every year. The construction of this temple is so simple that all the proceedings in the temple along with the beautiful Ganesh idol can be seen even from outside. It is located in Budhwar Peth, Pune. On the occasion of every festival the temple is decorated uniquely & beautifully. See some of the beautiful pictures.
This is a great post @vijayparadkar thanks for sharing. I enjoyed learning about your temple and seeing these images.
Omg loved the colorful images! Are these photos taken during festivals on different years? How could you manage to take them periodically… I think this lovable temple is the treasure of the place you live in? Great post.
@GhazalaShah Thank you.
We have number of festivals in a year and the temple is decorated for every one of those festivals. I am a Local Guide from the city of Pune in Maharashtra state of India. And this temple is about 8 kilometers away from my home, so I visit it during all the festivals for the different decorations.
@PaulPavlinovich Thank you very much for your encouragement!
Very beautiful decorations, it was a New Year in your country @vijayparadkar about 3 weeks ago, if my memory do not fail me.
Thanks @Natalia_20-12
