Hello Local Guides, I am located in a small village / town of Kerala state, India. For the past 2 years me and my son together will go for a daily cycle ride through our local roads to explore new places and at the same time give some necessary workout for our body.
Our daily cycle ride is through the villages of Palghat Gap on the western ghats ( Palakkad Gap or Palghat Gap is a low mountain pass in the Western Ghats between Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu and Palakkad in Kerala. It has an average elevation of 140 metres with a width of 24–30 kilometres. The pass is located between the Nilgiri Hills to the north and Anaimalai Hills to the south. )
Riding the Narrow roads going through paddy fields, coconut trees and Asian palmyra palm is a real thrill, numerous Rail Road crossings adds more visual pleasure to these exciting rides.
Here are some photographs we have captured during our ride.
