Armageddon Expo is like the ComicCon, but a much smaller version here in Auckland, New Zealand.
It’s a time when all related businesses showcase their new products, services etc. For example, gaming companies, PC manufacturers and retailers, education institutions, major studios, entertainment companies etc all have a stall. It also has a place for artisans and creators to sell their products, let alone say the merchandise.
For those cosplayers, this is the moment for them to show off their outfits and makeup.
I am always interested in the human beings. I call myself an observer. I always try to capture their state of being and the absurdity around them in situations like the Armageddon Expo. I am a regular at this event. Some celebrities I have met in the past include Kenny Baker (actor who played R2D2 in Star Wars), Christopher Lloyd (Doc from Back to The Future) etc.
