Playa Cosón is located in the north of the Dominican Republic near the tourist resort Las Terrenas. The journey is bumpy, because the way to the beach leads over a gravel runway. When it rains, it is often flooded. The beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the region and has a unique character. Although some hotels and resorts have settled here in recent years, the beach has not lost its feeling of lightheartedness and freedom.
The Playa Cosón pampers you with soft, fine-grained sand, turquoise water, and meter-high palm trees that stretch along the entire beach. Here you can relax in the gently sloping water or on a sun lounger in one of the restaurants. The beach is particularly suitable for a long walk, as it is one of the longest beaches in the country.
