I have spent years running and guiding adventure expeditions in Ghana and across Africa and it did not occur to me to cross-check google map information until I became a Local Guide. Standing on Afadjato, Ghana’s highest free-standing mountain, I decided to check my altitude and confirm whether the 885 metres touted as the height of the mountain online and in google search was accurate. It was not! I found it to be 640m high and confirmed it with three GPS devices. For so many years, we all in Ghana believed Afadjato was 885m high, and correcting the error is the most interesting thing I have done as a Local Guide.

Here you can find everything you need to know about writing a post for your Connect Live 2020 application. Don’t forget to review your final post and make sure you are not missing any of the points mentioned. If you are - feel free to edit your publication from the three dots and add them.
