The New Contributor Badge only has one level and not 3 levels as all the other badges.
I checked your Maps profile and noticed that you probably overlooked one important photo guideline. Google Maps is about the places, hence we should not upload any photos with recognizable faces. You have shared a ton of private photos with faces. Please remove them.
I’m quite sure that this violation is a contributing factor to why about a third of your reviews are currently taken down by the spam filters. You wrote 289 reviews, but only 199 are public.
When reviews get taken down it can influence the status of your badges.

I understand your point regarding photos with recognizable faces. In my case, most of the photos I upload are taken at public events such as conferences, seminars, official inaugurations, graduation ceremonies, festivals, sports matches, cultural camps, and other public gatherings. These photos have often already been published publicly by the event organizers or official pages, and my goal is to document the place and the event for other Google Maps users.
As a journalist, I regularly attend these events to report on them and share what visitors can expect. I believe that photos from public events can help people discover a place, understand its atmosphere, and decide whether they would like to visit it.
That said, I certainly respect Google Maps policies. If these types of photos are considered inappropriate for Google Maps, I will review my contributions and remove any photos that do not comply with the guidelines.

Thanks for your reply. It is easy to see and understand that you are describing events in your reviews. The problem is that Google Maps is different in scope from other “media”. Maps users expect to read about the place to decide if they want to pay a visit or not. Reading information about a one time (?) event is not helping them to know what to expect. As the event is always over when they read your review.
In my country such events with dignities is not nessesarily helt at a place relevant for the event.
So in my opinion, reviewing events under the places where they were helt at is not in line with what Google Maps intended.
But don’t act on my opinion only. Hopefully, others will share their opinions also.

I believe @MortenCopenhagen explained perfectly the issue, and my feelings is that more and more reviews will be removed soon, because totally irrelevant (together with the photos) to understand how the place is
My suggestion is to fix the actual issue first, removing/editing that kind of reviews and photos.

I have also noticed something over the last two days: the number of views on my contributions has stopped increasing, whereas previously it was growing every day. I’m not sure if this is related to the issue with my reviews or if it’s just a temporary fluctuation.

Please try to think as a “user” of Google Maps, not as a journalist.
What do you want to know when you check Google Maps before to visit a place? What would you see when you check an event venue? The faces of the people who attended a previous event? Honestly I would like to see the rooms, I would like to know the services they provide, I would like to know if someone had some issues when they organised something in there. This is the scope of Google Maps, and it should not be confused with a personal blog.
I understand your point much better now. You’re right that I should think from the perspective of a Google Maps user rather than as a journalist. The main purpose of Google Maps is to help people understand the place itself and decide whether they want to visit it.
This discussion has helped me see the difference more clearly, and I will review my contributions to make sure they focus more on the place, its facilities, services, and the visitor experience rather than the event itself.
