Hi friends! How are you all doing?
I’m super excited to share a recap of my experience participating in Connect Live 2026 Mexico City!
Besides the official schedule, the amazing #TeamTacos unofficially organized a series of fantastic meetup activities to help us explore and experience the best of the city. Here is a look back at everything we did together:
Historic Center Tour - Photo Walk
We kicked off our adventures exploring the heart of Mexico City, walking around the historic downtown and the iconic Zócalo, taking in all the history and rich culture of the old city.
Host: the captain @LightRich
Coyoacán & Trajineras
Our next stop was the colorful neighborhood of Coyoacán, where we visited Frida Kahlo’s famous Casa Azul. Later, we boarded traditional trajineras along the canals, listening to spooky horror stories and learning more about the fascinating traditions surrounding Día de Muertos a super traditional festival in Mexican Culture.
Host: @aaron_fernandez_MX and @EugeGallardo for trajineras
Teotihuacán Hot Air Balloon Ride
One of the absolute highlights was taking a hot air balloon flight over Teotihuacán. Seeing the magnificent ancient pyramids from high up in the air was a truly breathtaking experience!
Host: @LightRich and @EugeGallardo for ballons
Lucha Libre Night
That same evening, we went to a Lucha Libre show! This was one of the events I was looking forward to the most, and seeing it live was an absolute blast.
Host: My friend @Bere_Marichi
Chapultepec Castle & Park
We also visited Chapultepec Forest, exploring the impressive Castle and enjoying some of the most spectacular panoramic views of the entire city.
Host: always with a lot of details and good info @LightRich
Special Taco Night
Of course, a trip to Mexico wouldn’t be complete without tacos! We had an incredible taco night together, sharing great food, laughs, and unforgettable moments as a group.
HOST: The Great @LaloPadilla
Morning Running Session
The next morning was a bit tough after such an exciting week, but we laced up our sneakers for a Running Session. It was a great way to stay active while discovering more hidden corners of the city.
Host: @ErnestoGZamora epic kits!
Karaoke Night
Last but definitely not least—and already a true Connect Live classic—we wrapped up our trip with Karaoke Night! We had so much fun singing, dancing, and slowly saying our goodbyes to all the amazing Local Guides.
Host: @LaloPadilla the producer
