Connecting Rural India - 3

When I began this journey in April 2021, I never imagined that my objective of Connecting Rural India would receive such a positive response. Thank you to everyone who has encouraged and supported me along the way.

In the same way as the previous season, I concentrated on exploring the rural areas of Rajasthan’s Dungarpur District (Vagad Region).

Caption: Screenshot on the left seems familiar? Ah! You got it. It is animated version of me adding a road in Dungarpur (The pic on the left is owned by Google)

This season was unique because my clip for Official Guiding Star video was shot on the final day of the season.

Bridging the gap between urban and rural India has already proven to be a fascinating experience. It feels incredible to make a difference in the lives of millions of people from behind the curtain. Local guides tell me about a time when you got lost and Google Maps saved the day.

Further Details:

  • Duration - October 18, 2021 till October, 26 2021
  • Region - Rural Areas of Vagad region, Rajasthan, India.
  • Villages Covered - Kochri, Bawadi, Rahela, Dhamod, Tapana, Rohan wara, Sagwara City, Lolakpur, Dungarpur City, Tamatiya.

Future leg: Season 4 is now finished. In this leg, I was able to see some really cool items. Keep an eye out for updates.

Till then, remember to stay at home, be safe, and have fun guiding others.

Anshuk.
