I wonder how would I visit a place which is unknown to me without the help of Google Maps. I came to know about this 3 years ago. I was surfing on Google and saw on the right at the home page. There were three vertical dot lines. I clicked and saw an option called Map Maker and Maps.
Google makes it so easy to understand what a particular thing is all about. Within 5 minutes, I was ready to add a place which was not on Google Maps. It was a Sikh community worship place called as Shri Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.
It was then reviewed by Google plus received a confirmation code as well at this place. I never thought it would be so easy to add a place on Google so people can search when in need. After this, I started getting reviews and photos by other who were surely looking for this place.
After this, I got some points from Google and that was the day I came to know about Google Local Guides. I was so amazed by this that I can give a review to a place which I’ve visited so people will be able to judge a place by reading which I’ve shared. Plus, a photographer is in every human being. Additionally, my photos is now global and I was getting points day by day.
Receiving emails and achievements from Google is like a dream come true. Who don’t want to work with Google? I will surely say that I’ve been working with Google (unofficially
) for more than 3 years and I’m proud of it.
Being a Local Guide, this is the most interesting thing I’ve done as locals can be seen in this modern world.
