Welcome to Connect, @ChantelF ! I’m a NYC native and occasionally go to CT but one thing I’ve never had is pizza. Can you shed some light on the pizza style there? I’m sorry if you get tons of those questions but I saw you in the feed and figured this was my chance!

New Haven pizza style is locally famous- thin slightly burnt crust, sauce seems to be made from scratch thus very flavorful & naturally sweet. A few places don’t put mozzarella on by default so don’t be surprised if you get asked “cheese?”, don’t know if that’s a New Haven thing or a signifier of where in Italy the chef hails from.
