Of all the Local Guides I know @brittym , @ErmesT is truly the embodiment of the Local Guides’ spirit and one of the most active, heart and souls, here on Connect. Ermes is an excellent, an obvious choice for Connect Live Attendee of the Week. He lives breathes the Local Guides Program and Connect.
Almost every Local Guide who has ever logged on to Connect, knows who or has some contact with Ermes at some point.
His Connect stats are unbelievable (850 solutions as one of his stats - Wowwww!!). And for two years in a row Ermes has won “most connected on Connect” at the annual Connect Live Goodbye Party for this obvious reason.
Day or night, weekend, holiday, Ermes is usually on Connect helping a fellow Local Guide, writing one of his many posts, motivating and/or challenging us here in our online community with either his Clean the World initiative, food and wine topics, flowers and nature topics, etc. to get us to share a little more of ourselves and our communities to each other.
I am always joking with Ermes that he never sleeps. He is always online (and he has a busy, full time career and personal life outside of Local Guides / Connect). I get his constant Connect notifications throughout my day (we live 9 time zones away). I don’t know how he consistently does this!
There is only one Ermes and truly deserves to be highlighted here.

I sleep at least 5 hours (well, sometimes a few minutes less). It seems this happen when you become old.
Usually I don’t share my private stats, the trick in any case is to keep a small window open to Connect on my desktop, to check if someone need some help.
BTW, it is true that I am quite known in the community, as I have received at least a like by 6069 different Local Guides and Googlers. That’s the reason why I said to @brittym that, in my opinion, the Attendee of the week should be a new Local Guide, someone to encourage, not someone that need to be invited to “slow down”.
The point is that I simply love this Community, for the huge human potential that we have, and for the huge technical potential that Google Maps have. The combination of the two is really something that can change the World.
Well, you know me very well, I don’t need to tell you anything about me, but I am very proud to have you as a friend. As I said, my choice was for a new Local Guide, and I believe I made a good choice with @CaroGuiniazu , but if I have to choose a Local Guide that is truly representing the spirit, the energy and the motivations of this community, well, I have no doubt, this Local guide is you.
There is only one KarenV, and I can be proudly say: “she’s my friend”
