Congrats Email Share on Facebook Malfunction

So I finally reached Level 7 and received an email from Google Local Guides inviting me to share this news on my social media (see Fig 1)

But then when I clicked on “Share on Facebook” it was for Level 4 not for Level 7 (see Fig 2) … so, some kind of disconnect there.

Hello @Mike_A this is not unique to you or to level 7. I have already seen similar posts from people that have reached other levels; it seems to be an overall problem with the links in those emails.

Thanks for reaching out. We’re going to investigate this issue and I need to ask you do you use the mobile version of Facebook?

I use Facebook Lite and Messenger Lite on Android. However, the error I documented here took place on a iMac w/ Safari, Gmail, Facebook.

We have tested this option and it seems to be working properly. Can you please clear your cache and cookies and try again?

Cleared all browsing data for all time in Chrome on my iMac; still got the same result.

Happened when I tried to share with Google+ just now (Fig 1):

and likewise when trying to share on Twitter (Fig 2):

Seems like the links in the email are bad.

@RadieN to support what @Mike_A is stating: I notice the exact same when clicking the links in the email I had received when reaching level 10. The tweet mentioned 250 points, the FB post had the Level 4 picture.
