Can anyone guess as to why my whole review badge process reset even though I have 173 reviews? I was on the cusp of earning the Master Reviewer too.

I have looked at thousands of Maps profiles. And normally I can quickly spot what the problem is. But this is confusing also to me. You have added 173 reviews and currently 169 of them are public. So you badge is missing for no good reason.

Hi @Pincoat , this is an issue that I’ve seen only a few times, caused by a glitch on a profile.
In some case it was possible to solve it by forcing Maps to re-upload the data.
It can be done by clearing cache, uninstalling and installing the app again, to perform a kind of “cold restart”. The procedure can force a new upload of the data of a profile.
But most of the time it doesn’t work, so it is necessary to have an operator to check the profile and fix it.
For this reason I am tagging @DeniGu here, to check and, if necessary, to escalate it to the Google Maps team

Just a tip for future communication. Active members respond in a lot of posts, so they can miss some reply if they aren’t tagged.
Just use @ to start the tag creation, and select the name of the person you want to mention. It will makes everything easier
Clearing the cache then uninstalling and reinstalling, sadly, did not solve the problem.

The exact same thing happened to me. I have reviewed plenty to get the badge. But for some reason it’s glitched. I tried uninstalling and clearing etc … Nothing. Can anyone please help me out?

In fact I see that you wrote several reviews, but, as your profile is “hidden” I can’t confirm that your reviews are publicly visible.
The most common reason for not receiving the badge is that the reviews are made private, but as I said, I can’t confirm it.
