Coney Island in Singapore (Serangoon Island) a nature reserve north of Singapore.
This island is a nature lovers and photographer must go places. It open from 7am to 7pm daily (gate will be locked after 7pm)
The island is around 2.5 km long and there are two entrance to the island. Recommend to park at Punggol Settlement and enter from the West Gate.
Recommended timing to visit is 7am to before 10am. when the weather is not as hot. do bring along food and water for the visit. Toilet is very far.
There are variate of animal and insect on the island. Otters are popular on the island. You can find Sun Birds, Wood Pecker (Flame head and flame back)
Iguana are also common around the island
Insect will be good for your Macro Photography.

Occasional encounter with monkeys
The beach stretch along the northern side of the island and a common place for fishing.
Most scary sign that you will see on the island. Toilet 1 km ?
