I would like to invite you to come and visit Southern Illinois.
Although often taken for granted, there’s a lot to see and do here, especially if you are in search of the Character the American Heartland, with little Towns, Farming Communities, and smaller Cities with very interesting Histories and Dynamics to explore.
There may not be the Majesty of Great Mountain Ranges…or Ocean views over a crashing surf swept beach… but the Dawns and Sunsets are some of the most Beautiful on Earth, the Terrain is surprising diverse, and you can still find places to Meditate and find Peaceful Moments that will bring both Contentment and Understanding of our Interlocking Lives.
Weather here is very important… and hard to predict, owing to the Natural Forces that constantly push and pull Storms, moisture and cold dry air across the Region and contribute an air of uncertainty and excitement from time to time, and the Seasons often bring their own Majesty in the Extremes of the Weather encountered here.
Southern Illinois will Humble you if you know where to look… and leave you Awestruck that you ever took it for granted… and being Humbled from time to time is a Good Thing!
