Let’s see how to successfully draw a road that runs through the shade of trees and get it approved in the next slot. Let’s see in this video.
Tips and Tricks - Remember to click on both sides of the tree shadows, as in the video. Start drawing from an existing road and try to end on another existing road.
Then you can easily get that road approved.
Come let’s start drawing roads in Google Map together.

My advice to you is not to add such unpaved roads on the map. These are not official roads and people use them as shortcuts to go to each other’s farms. Such added roads can often put people in trouble.
Ciao @Sisakumar ,
really so happy to see that you also did a “tutorial video” on editing roads.
The “trick” to click right before and after a tree or shadow or big obstacle works well also when you want to do a really long roads.
I saw that, in this case, if you add a “cross” or a “secondary” road you’ll have more success.
@NareshDarji How are you?
Yes, you are OK at an extent. There is a possibility.
But what I am doing is, When I start drawing a road, I first check the TWO TYRE MARKS on entire road and convince myself that one can drive a four wheeler through the entire section, and then only I decided to mark its ROAD TYPE as LOCAL ROAD. If the tyre marks found single, definitely the ROAD TYPE is Biking / walking trail.
Thank you. Keep chatting. Take care.
@Aravindchaudhari
Yes of course. there are possibilities.
But I am sure that there are two tire marks on the entire road, which is enough for a four-wheeler to drive, and both ends are connected to existing roads. If these parameters are correct, unpaved roads can be drawn on any terrain. But one should drive responsibly, and be as careful as possible when driving at night and the road is unknown.
Thank you. Keep chatting. Take care.
If you examine the satellite image carefully, you will see numerous such tire tracks which are dirt roads and which can never be used for navigation. Adding such cart tracks which are used by villagers on the map can put other people in trouble.
