Coke Bottle Art on display at the World of Coca Cola in Atlanta

During the visit to the Coca Cola World in Atlanta I noticed that there were several large size bottles in the shape of the famous Coca Cola bottle kept all over place when moving from one gallery to another.

Coca Cola was first introduced in 1886 as a medicine by pharmacist John Pemberton in Atlanta and was sold via a dispenser.

Bottling started much later in the 20th century. The initial design of the bottle gave it a ditinct identity and soon it became famous and iconic.

The abbreviation ‘Coke’ was used for the first time in magazine ads in 1941.

They even have a trash can in the shape of the Coke Bottle.

The Coke bottle with its distinct shape was originally designed in 1916.

In 1950, the Coca-Cola bottle even appeared on the cover of Time Magazine.

The Coca-Cola bottle was also popularly called the ‘hobble skirt bottle’ that was a popular fashion trend during the 1920s.

The Coca-Cola bottle was also called the ‘Mae West’ bottle after the famous actress.

Coca-Cola also co-sponsored the broadcast of the Apollo XI moon landing in July 1969 on international television and became famous all over the world.

Diet Coke was launched exactly 100 years after the original Coke.

The Stevia leaf is used as a natural sweetener in coke.

In front of the main building of the Coca Cola World is a tree that is groomed in the shape of the cola bottle.

The Coca Cola world is an amazing paisa-vasool, meaning a bang-for-the-buck place to visit in Atlanta where everything is relatively cheap including its amazing Marta Metro train to the airport.

Where to Stay

I stayed at the Motel 6 about which I will write a separate post shortly.

How to Reach

From the hotel mentioned above which, the Coca Cola World is walking distance and is less than a mile away.
Coming from the airport I think the nearest metro station would be the PeachTree metro station.
Read here how to take the Marta Metro Rail Service for less than $2 from the Atlanta station to the Coca Cola World.

Bottle Art of Coco Cola - nice collection, dear @TusharSuradkar Ji…

Some shots with high-light in the background is captured well - the HDR in the camera has worked well.

Interesting to read & view the photos.

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you @TravellerG for your appreciation.

Unfortunately, the illumination of this semi-open museum was noticeably too high even for human eyes and they had all their exhibits near the glass windows which made it difficult for the eyes and also the cameras to notice and appreciate the artifacts at the museum.

I am curious to know more about HDR in the camera and if it there in my low-end mobile camera.

Did you also publish the video of your recent photography meetup? Sorry if it is already published and I did not notice.

Hello, dear @TusharSuradkar Ji,

You are most welcome…

"I am curious to know more about HDR in the camera "

Kindly check this post Here, which was written long back.

In modern mobile cameras, the feature will be present & works without any ‘Manual’ switching.

“If it’s there in my low-end mobile camera”

You may kindly send me the Brand & model Number of your mobile, via DM, and I shall surely try to help.

“Did you also publish the video of your recent photography meetup?”

Unfortunately, the ‘Recording’ feature is removed now; however, I am publishing the presentation in parts, soon - Hope it will be useful to you.

Best wishes
