Close to the serenity

I think not too many people know about this place. It’s near Main st and Kingston rd. It’s not a big park but it’s worth to visit. There is not enough bench to sit. It’s good for walk and fresh air. As soon as you enter, you can find a water path. There are few ways to walk around the park. If you are ok to walk up to the stairs, take it. You will feel like not to leave the place. Just enjoy the breeze. The park is in a residential area but you will feel like you are some where else, you have no connection to city life, it’s serenity to loose yourself in nature. You will see lots of dog walkers. People pass by, will say Hi for sure. The park is not big so you can finish in one hour. I guarantee you will energize yourself after your visit.

Hello @BhromonBuddy ,

Thank you for sharing this amazing location and beautiful photo with us!

I love such green, calm and peaceful places that makes you forget that you are in an inhabited area! Your post particularly reminded me of my visit to the Majorelle Garden in Marrakesh. Although being in the middle of a huge crowded city, I felt as if I was somewhere in the woods.

Is this a park with a gate that closes at a certain moment of the day, or it’s all the time accessible and open?

Hi @BhromonBuddy

We are organizing a photo-walk meetup on Thursday at 5:30 PM in High Park, Toronto.

As you know, High Park is Toronto’s largest public park featuring many hiking trails, sports facilities, diverse vegetation, a beautiful lakefront, easy public transit access, a dog park, a zoo, a couple of eateries and picnic areas. We will lace up our most comfortable shoes and meet at Hillside Gardens High Park. Our goal is to get to know each other, add photos of the High Park and the surrounding facilities. A small jacket and an umbrella in case of wind or rain are suggested. Of course, do not forget your (mobile) cameras and a power bank to keep on them.
