Climbing and getting on top!

getting on top of a stratovolcano is not a regular task, that’s why as a local guide, i Like to help others, as others helped me.

@Oscarrav looks like a difficult task. at what altitude you took this pic?

Hi @Oscarrav :

Thank you for sharing your photo. Can you tell us a bit more? Like how long did it take you to get to the summit and was this your first time? It also looks like an active volcano, was it dangerous?

@sparekh @Hi! Yes it was, i get around 5,500 metres

@Shirley hello, iyes, it was my first time and it took around 8 hours To get to the summit and 6 hours to go down. There are two ways to summit, 1 starts at midnight to see the sunrise and the second one that requires you to sleep in the middle. The paths are really a challenge all the time but the sights really worrh it. The active volcano in the back is a different one, an active neighbour wich is taller thabn his one but unfortunatelly there’s no chance to get closer than i was.

Take a look at the sunrise.
