Hi @KristinaSyvorova ,

Thank you! I’m glad that you like this article! :laughing: These murals are definitely amazing! :hugs:

Hello Ewaade! @Ewaade_3A

Cool! It doesn’t sound like English. Which language is the name rooted from? And what’s the meaning behind it? :smiley: As for my name, Ling “伶”, it means clever in Mandarin. :blush:

Haha yes, the bookshelf cat mural is very eye-catching, especially on such a large-scale wall.

Wow! I like your name! EWAADE IS LING!

Ewaade is a Nigerian name. It is short for ‘Ewaadeoluwa’ and it means; "The beauty of the Lord’s Crown"

Ewa- Beauty

Ade- Crown

Oluwa- Lord.

Many people who come from a Royal Family have the 'Ade’ in their name.

@ChanneLing

No, I am not from a Royal family and Ewaade is an Adopted name.

Lagos is more than that. It is one of the Entertainment Capitals of the world.

It is Nigeria’s Commercial Nerve centre.

It is one of the most Multi-dynamic, culturally diverse States of the world.

If Lagos was a country, we will be richest in the whole of Africa and one of the richest in the world.

The People of Lagos nko? Don’t try us! We are one of the smartest in the entire universe. Being able to live here alone is the symbol and the sign that you can thrive anywhere in the world!

Ehn! LAGOS! Where my Lagos people at?

One state that is hotly contested. A Governor that wins Lagos is almost like the Governor of Nigeria. We have the resources, the money and the manpower. Don’t make me brag about My Lagos o. I am so proud of this city

@ChanneLing

Awwwww that’s amazing! @Ewaade_3A

You make it to my bucket list now! :star_struck: I wish I could be this proud of the city I live in as you are.

Taipei is indeed a lovely city to stay and I love its all (except for the air pollution and the weather :joy: ), yet, it’s still not easy for me to say that I’m proud of it. Is it a strange thing?

No, it’s not strange. It’s a mindset thing. We will not always be in the best of circumstances but we are Humans, so that, every circumstance or situation we find ourselves can be the best. @ChanneLing

I call it the “Conditioning from within”, from this deep conditioning from within, I Condition my external environment. Everything must work for me just because it is me and I begin to say it just as I want it to be.

This is not to say; Lagos is not all.of these and more. I am.very very proud of Lagos and our people say; "Anyone who reaches Lagos and does not become wise can never be wise again.

But these kind of talks are not permitted on Connect. @ChanneLing
