City Graffiti: Chicago, the City of Wind, Skyscrapers and Deep Dish Pizza

Today’s location

Chicago, one of the largest cities in the US, and it’s also known as the birthplace of the skyscraper and the deep dish pizza.

The story behind the photos

The jazz age Chicago musical, the delicious Chicago style stuffed deep-dish pizza, the amazing skyline of Chicago skyscrapers, and more! What else would you think of when you hear this city? My first visit to Chicago was in March 2018, and what made me there? As a foodie, I’m proud to say, “Chicago pizza brought me there!” Just like lobster rolls brought me to Boston. Wait? Isn’t it an article about street art graffiti? Yes, it is! I just can’t help but express my love for food. (Check out my Connect posts about the top 3 Chicago pizza places and my dining experience at the famous Purple Pig in Chicago.)

Back to the track, the time I went was in April, which might not be the best time to visit the city since it was chilly and super windy. I can see why it’s called the city of wind then. Though it might not look like, some of the following graffiti photos were taken while me fighting with the wind to catch.

Have you been to Chicago? What do you love the most about this city?

Loved reading your post @ChanneLing - I travelled to Chicago in November and fall in love with the city

From visiting the sky deck at Wills tower to enjoying Nutella Cafe crepes to visiting the amazing Chicago History Museum - the city vibe was different and I just can’t explain how much I miss this place!

Awwww! @AIMAN_SAEED

I’m glad you enjoyed reading this article.

Chicago is really an amazing place to stroll, mixed with that modern and vintage jazz vibes.

And thank you for sharing your great experience and photos with me!

I almost forgot how breathtakingly beautiful the view is from SkyDeck. Thanks for reminding me that.

Hello @ChanneLing,

I haven’t been in Chicago yet or in the States at all but super curious tho, specially the art scene is catching my interest.

Here is another Uncle Sam graffiti with the Anonymous mask. I took this picture somewhere in the Balkans.

Would you like to visit my posting about street art?

I will be very glad if you leave me a comment or just what you think about it.

Best wishes from Turkey ?
