Hi @BorrisS thank you for the respons and appreciation. ci cong fan consists of shrimp spring rolls, siomay, and white cong fan. then doused with a sauce that has a sour, spicy, and sweet tast ^^

At Indonesia, this food for breakfast or lunch.

Sarapan kesukaanku ini, itu kamu pake saus apa?, kalau aku biasanya hanya menggunakan kecap asin dan sedikit sambal yang ada di rumah makannya. Sudah lama tapi tidak menyantap hidangan ini, terakhir saya makan ci cong fan ala Vietnam buatan @sonnyNg .

Itu aku pake kecap asin dan saus cuka + sambal. Aku juga sering buat sarapan di kantor. Cuma lebih suka campuran lumpia aja no siomay hehehe

Kabar baik, semoga kamu juga baik dan selalu membuat saya kangen masakan Indonesia. Tapi sangat senang melihat post kamu, memperkenalkan makanan khas kita dan sarapan kita.

Karena orang luar, mereka merasa agak aneh dengan sarapan lokal kita yang terbilang cukup berat. Biasa disini mereka hanya sarapan roti atau yogurt.

Berbicara soal lumpia, lumpianya isi apa?.

I will definitely be looking forward to visit Medan, not just to try out the cuisine but to explore the culture as well!

This would be Vietnamese version of the dish, call bánh cuốn. Usually it is combined with cinnamon sausage with fish sauce fixed to taste. : ]

I was in Java and Bali last November, and tried a lot of local food. I didn’t come across this, unfortunately. Is it only widely available in Sumatra?

So far I have only found it around Sumatra. However, I found this in Jakarta close to the office. Next time, you can taste it if you visit Medan or Jakarta, yes :slight_smile:

Have you tried any culinary in Java and Bali? Wow, it must be nice. I’ve been in Bali for two years, I’ve tried some halal food.
