One day after the Christmas I hope you all had a great celebration.
i would like to share with you my Christmas Log Cake (Bûche de Noël) and also invite you to do so in the comment.
This looks delicious @nkwetche . Is it Christmas tradition in your home to make a log cake? As it is summer in Australia over Christmas, some people like to eat lighter desserts like pavlova. I make mine with tropical fruit. I have seen a rolled version in a recipe book. Perhaps I’ll try this next year. For now, I’ve included a photo of the tropical fruit pav I made this year. Hope you had a lovely Christmas.
Your Tropical fruits very delicious too.
Yes it’s a tradition in house to eat a log cake as dessert for Christmas. This year, my wife decided not to buy but to made it her self. It was good experience to spend time doing this with our kids.
Thank you for your participation.
Well, it turned out beautifully @nkwetche .You are fortunate to be married to such a good baker. I can just imagine how wonderful it would have been in your kitchen, preparing this together. Thank you for sharing this special Christmas occasion with us.
@nkwetche Delicious. How will you celebrate Christmas this year? Will there be another log cake?
I was wondering if you’ve heard of my #ChristmasInMyCity 2021 world wide challenge? Thought I’d mention it in case you’d like to participate. I did one in 2019 but skipped 2020 as there wasn’t much we could do in Melbourne outdoors then. But I’m back this year.
