Christmas In Port Harcourt city. Nigeria 2021

Although time and tide is getting busier for me towards the end of the year, I have already given @MariaNgo my words that’ll participate in this year’s worldwide Christmas challenge. #CbristmasInMyCity 2021. I love challenges and I have participated in some.here on connect and I’ll look forward to participating in even more. Now I am living and working in the South South of Nigeria at the moment although I travel around still. I am stationed here. There are a few decorations, music and indications of the approaching Christmas around.

There are a few Christmas trees decorated around some offices and shopping malls, supermarkets etc The markets are booming as well. Note that it gets bigger and better as Dec 25th gets closer. The decorations get more beautiful too. There are other scenarios I’ll like to share as regards Christmas in West Africa and Nigeria in particular but they are not just ready yet. I’ll not promise but I’ll try to post them if I can get them. It’s a very interesting time of the year.

This is.my part of contribution to this year’s Christmas challenge and I hope it qualifies

Thank you for organising this and for your own post as well. Compliments of the season and happy holidays.

cheers

@SholaIB Thank you for your contributions from the south of Nigeria. Much appreciated. So it seems that Christmas trees are the most popular choice. I’ll add a link to your post from my main page.
