Chopta is an unspoiled natural destination lying in the lap of the Uttarakhand Himalayas and offers views of the imposing Himalayan range including Trishul, Nanda Devi and Chaukhamba. It is located at an elevation of 2,680 metres (8,790 ft) above sea level. Chopta village is surrounded by forests of pine, deodar and rhododendron and is rich in flora and fauna include rare species of birds and musk deer.
At least three days only for Nainital one day for Raj Bhavan, Dorothy’s Seat, Snow view through ropeway, boating in Naini Lake and all the evenings masti at Mall road.
If you have followed well then it would have been via Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee, Rishikesh, Srinagar, Rudraprayag. It might be a thrilling experience. Thank you

Chopta is known for it’s lush green Meadows during summers while in winters, the place is covered with fresh snow. One can do adventurous activities like skiing, trekking & camping. I went there to do Tungnath trek ( one of the highest Shiva temples in the world) wherein, Chopta is the base to start the trek. Apart from this, the views u get to see there are heavenly. It was such an amazing experience for me.
