Barkas is a beautiful restaurant with the charming ambiance added to the dining experience. In fact it is an Arabic restaurant where favorite Arabic food like Qabsa and Mandi are very famous and this food is served according to Arabic traditions.
The restaurant staff are smart as soon as we arrived they offered us our favorite table and the menu was in front. The menu was quite rich with a good list of delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The non-vegetarian dishes here are prepared only with halal chicken and mutton. We ordered a straight dinner consisting of Chicken Ashiana which is prepared on this restaurant’s special recipe along with onion salad and tandoori rotis. It takes approx 20 minutes for the order to be served.
Chicken Ashiyana is prepared with roasted Chicken drumsticks cooked with chopped onion and tomato gravy, topped with butter and cream and just customized by adding light spices and ingredients for aroma. Really Chicken Ashiyana is Special Cuisine of Barkaas, preparation was almost in Hyderabadi style. We enjoyed the delicacies of Barkaas it was absolutely tasty and satisfactory.
This is a purely hygienic restaurant, kids friendly, family friendly, special group gathering, a lot of veg and non vegetarian options in main course with tandoori and mandi. Special desserts like Kaddu ki Kheer, Kunafa etc are very popular. It’s situated in the Park Circus area. Rates are affordable infact less in comparison of quality, quantity and services.
