‘Chand Minar’ is situated inside the Daulatabad fort; it is one of the most wonderful parts of the fort. Daulatabad fort is located at a distance of 15 km from Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. It is on the way to the famous ‘Ellora Caves’ & is well connected by public conveyance. This fort was once known as Devagiri, is a magnificent 14th century fortress standing atop a hill. Daulatabad fort is constructed with excellent architecture, is one of the few invincible forts in Maharashtra.
Best season to visit is between September to February, as the weather is pleasant.

Thanks to share the beautiful pictures of Chand Minar. Indeed it’s a quite historical Fort. After Yadav’s, it was ruled by Ala Uddin Khilji and the Delhi Sultanate Capital was shifted to Deogiri by Mohammad Bin Tughlaque in 1330 AD. And Chand Minar is a great architectural heritage and monument. Thanks.
