It’s been a long hot summer in the Northern Hemisphere, and a long hot summer will be starting soon in the Southern Hemisphere. Some of you may be traveling — or planning to travel — during this relaxing period, and you may be wondering: where can I find great ice cream along the way?
So let’s turn this thread into a recommendations list for ice cream shops, tried and approved by Local Guides around the world. Take part in the challenge and you could win a Connect badge, too!
The challenge
Write a review of an ice cream shop or add a photo of an ice cream at a local shop or restaurant on Google Maps. Contributions about gelato, soft serve, sundaes, and other ice cream varieties are more than welcome!
You can participate with a review or photo that has been added on Google Maps between August 1 and August 31, 2024.
Share a link to your review or your photo in the comments below by September 1 (included).
Note: To share a link to your photo, open Google Mapson your computer. In the top left, click on the hamburger menu and select Your contributions. Choose Photos and find the photo you want to share. In the top right corner of the image, click on the three dots and then Share. Copy the link and paste it in your comment.
To share a review, go to your profile (on a computer or mobile device), find your review, and tap the Share button under it. Copy the link and paste it below.
Everyone whose review or photo follows the challenge instructions and criteria above will be awarded a Connect challenge winner badge or will be added to our running lists of challenge winners.

Thank you for the challenge @DeniGu ! I love gelatos and ice-creams so this is my favorite one ! Here is my Unique gelato spots list for London that I had created eralier ! Recently I went to Apsara Icecreams near my place and loved their natural seasonal variety of ice-creams and flavours were so unique !
Below is the one I tried , which was spicy chilly guava flavoured ice-cream as guava is on season now :

I will start here with the first thing I’ve got but I will take the challenge even further and later this week I will try and even improove the entry .
So I visited Venice 2 years ago and during our walk in the city we encountered a local place with super great Ice-creams. It was just next to La Tolleta canal and called:
I had given a review there and posted some photos but I never posted the photo of the icecream cone that I took there (it was on another camera).
I loved their creamy and tasty ice-cream and my wife enjoyed it as much
So I posted this new photo (taken July 2022) to their page today This is the photo of the icecream (Link)
