Due to busy schedule, we are not able to meet our childhood friends, but it is also true that memories always stay with us and bring a sweet smile.

A small but beautiful city and within that city, a small world and in that world, our hangout ‘Sharma Tea Stall’ - not just a tea shop, but an unspoken parliament of our friends. In those days, when the future was hazy and dreams were colourful, this small place was witness to every hustle and bustle of teenage minds.

Sharma uncle would play devotional songs of Hari Om Sharan in the morning and evening.

As the evening fell, our gathering would start. The sweet mixture of Vicky’s tea kettle, our laughter and occasional serious discussions had become the identity of that place.

Our favourite tea was - ginger tea, every sip of which had the warmth of friendship. Sometimes we would eat a single samosa by dividing it into three parts and there was a different pleasure in eating it after dividing it.

Friendship is priceless, and there is a great solace hidden in the little joys of life.

Then the wheel of time turned. The colors of college were different, the paths diverged, and the burden of family responsibilities on the shoulders increased. And I… I too got busy in my own world.

Now years later, “Dada @TusharSuradkar ki Chai par Charcha karne ki initiative” and memories have faded, now Sharma Tea Stall might have become someone else’s haunt of memories. Still, the echo of our laughter and conversations buried in the soil of that place still reverberates in my ears. That tea stall is now just a memory, a beautiful memory that will always stay with me - a place where the first boat of friendship found the shore.

This story is dedicated to childhood memories. Hope it makes you feel a little joy and the sweetness of old friendship.

Okay Now the photo Glimpse of chai Pe Charcha Me & Myself.

Wonderful place to have tea @ShailendraOjha

Also true that talking over tea allows us to connect with old friends and make new friends.

I like the double-vessel tea serving style. These are sometimes in brass also.
Interiors of Krishna Udupi are posh :+1:

Great! I love to have tea or coffee in such traditional steel or brass metal glasses; I think they call it dabara in South India.

Cheers!
