This post is a kickoff in response to the Sandwich month challenge by @Rahul001

On August 2, 2025, local guides in Pune gathered at the AC Pav Bhaji House in Pune to discuss Google Maps and Connect over tea.

As a tradition, we ordered tea to break the ice :smile:

Soon, more delicacies, such as Pav Bhaji, Misal Pav, and the menu of the month, the Sandwich, followed.

Some local guides ordered fries and cold coffee as well.

But the highlights were tea and Sandwiches.

We discussed several topics related to Google Maps navigation, provided feedback about Connect features to the LG Team, and flagged posts. The rounds of tea and sandwiches did not stop.

It was a memorable day shipping hot tea while it was showering lightly today.

That chai with sandwich :sandwich: looks yummy.

Actually there’s new sandwich :sandwich: in town, which only gets at Chai shops. I will visit & share the experiences.

Não sei o que acontece no Brasil, percebo que há uma falta de engajamento dos Local Guides, não posso afirmar com certeza, mas moramos numa região metropolitana da cidade de Belo Horizonte, são 6,3 M de habitantes, dificilmente encontro alguém do Brasil neste ambiente. Parabéns pelo encontro e interatividade.

I really enjoyed how you brought the community together over chai and conversations — such a warm and engaging meetup idea.
Pune always knows how to mix culture and flavor perfectly.

It was the same situation in Pune with a population of 115 million.

I started with finding with just one local guide, then we slowly grew to a top meeting of 55 people.

Give it a try, @anon22766736, start small - I am sure you will get to meet many.
Ask friends if they use Google Maps, they are the local guides - Register them for this platform and meet them over Tea.
