Hahaha @SholaIB

As the crow flies reminds me alot. :joy:

Why do they always use the crow as an instance?

As the crow flies is a very geographical word @Austinelewex . You remember that was used alot in map reading in secondary school. In measuring the distance between 2 places for example, you can measure over a hill or over a mountain to the other side.t The crow as a bird can fly over the sea or river or hill or mountain, so it may be near or easy for the crow. For a human being if there is a mountain or hill or river to cross then the distance is not the same. You get it now :slightly_smiling_face:

I get it now @SholaIB

I was thinking it is because the crow fly in a straight line just like aeroplanes. :airplane:

Well @Austinelewex maybe that another aspect of it I don’t know but certainly am sure of the other aspects over the mountains and hills and rivers. We can’t do that, therefore as the crow flies it maybe near enough, but following the real distance…its something else :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Hey @SholaIB ,

Thank you for this interesting post!

I remember passing through Tema with some group of friends on our trip to Lomé. All I heard then was it was a place frequently visited by celebrities.

I’m so glad I am trying to do away with my non-inquisitive days, imagine the type of interesting facts we missed out. Thanks for sharing this, I will read more about it.

Hey @Nuhuu

Thank you for taking the time to check out my posts. It’s amazing the amount of facts and interesting pieces of information we take for granted because they are so close to us and maybe we are not even aware of them. Connect has really educated us to notice new and old amazing things both from far and near. It’s not my first time in Ghana but because of connect it’s my first time to notice that. Try read more about it please and if you ever pass through again try get there yourself. You’ll love it.

Cheers.
